Neighbors wait to move their vehicles at the scene where at least a dozen people were shot, including children, on Halloween night near Polk Street and California Avenue. 14 people, including three children, were wounded in a drive-by shooting. Injuries included gunshot wounds to the legs and torso, and the victims were ages 3 to 51. The children who were shot are 3, 11 and 13 years old, and all three were in serious condition.

CHERICE PATTERSON reflects on her recovery from gunshot wounds at home in Chicago. Patterson, said the family has recently organized a GoFundMe account, which as of Nov. 22 had raised $345 of a $100,000 goal. The shooting victims are mostly close-knit family and friends.
