ICE launched its Chicago area surge dubbed operation 'Midway Blitz' on September 8th, drawing concern from activists and immigrant communities who say there's been an increase in immigration enforcement agents. That has deepened dread in communities already afraid of the large-scale arrests and aggressive tactics used in other cities targeted by President Trumps hardline immigration policies.
