Texas Redneck Games at the Pool Ranch in Athens. For three days, hordes of legit and wannabe rednecks convened to get drunk,
race ATVs, ogle at girls and compete at redneck sporting events such as spam eating, butt-crack contests, the mattress throw
and the starter toss. Patterned after the original Redneck Games which began more than a decade ago in Georgia, the Texas
version is in its third year and attracts about 5,000 to 6,000 people.
