GARBAGE KIDS

It's estimated that 2,000 people, including 600 children, earn a meager dollar or two a day at a Phnom Penh garbage dump by scavenging through toxic, smoldering trash for anything recyclable. For the kids, attending school is a secondary priority to earning money for the family; perpetuating the substandard lifestyles local residents continue to live.
