Chaplain (Major) Tim Vakoc, of Minnesota,
was gravely wounded by a roadside bomb in Iraq.
Of the thousands of casualties of the Iraq war,
Tim Vakoc was the only priest. Four months later,
he was flown to the Minneapolis VA hospital for
its special brain injury program. Since then, a devoted
circle of supporters has formed to support the
ailing Father.
